Can bleach spots be repaired on carpet?

A bleach splash does not behave like a coffee stain. Coffee sits on the fiber and can often be pulled out with carpet cleaning. Bleach strips the color out of the yarn. Cleaning the spot again will not put that color back.

When a spot can be repaired

If you can still feel the pile and the fibers are not melted or worn to the backing, localized dyeing is the job we look at first. Small kitchen and bathroom spots in Bradenton and Sarasota houses are the usual call. Color restoration starts at $99, and a clear photo is often enough to say whether an inspection is needed.

When it cannot

If the yarn is gone, dyeing has nothing to color. A melted patch, a bald traffic lane, or a fiber that will not take new color are reasons we will tell you to replace that section instead. We do not promise the repair will disappear in every light.

Send a photo, or request a color restoration estimate. If the color is missing, book carpet dyeing and color restoration.
